Basically, any motorcycle with a 12-volt DC electrical system can be equipped with the modern turn signals. When buying new turn signals, it is not only the E-mark on the lenses that is important. All turn signals from the TecBike range have valid E-markings.
Furthermore, it is important to note that LEDs have a lower power consumption compared to conventional bulbs. If you replace the old bulbs with LED turn signals, the flasher relay (which is responsible for the correct flashing frequency of around 90 cycles) lacks the correct load. As a result, the flashers cycle much too fast. There are two solutions for this problem: You use a special and load-independent LED flasher relay. Or you fake the correct power to the original flasher relay. For this purpose, appropriate resistors are connected in between.
