Now take hold of the cable housing just behind the adjusting screw. To do this, tighten the lever a little. When you release it, pull the cable housing out of its seat. To remove the pivot bolt, loosen the lock nut and then unscrew the pivot bolt.

Our tip: In some cases, thin shaft washers or small springs with a ball are installed. In many cases, there is a small bushing in the joint bore of the lever. If these components are lost, the lever can no longer be installed correctly. Therefore, hold a hand under the lever socket and pull the lever out.
