Which turn signal distance applies according to StVZO?

If the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) are decisive, the following turn signal distances are prescribed for motorcycles:

• Distance front: at least 340 millimeters
• Distance at the rear: at least 240 millimeters

EC law requires 240 millimeters at the front and 180 millimeters at the rear. Turn signals may be mounted at a height of at least 350 millimeters up to a maximum of 1,200 millimeters.
