On exhaust systems of serial bikes this does not seem to be very inspiring from an aesthetic point of view and some "bags" look more like foreign bodies.

Slip-On or do you prefer a completely new system?

If the exhaust should be exchanged, you have two possibilities. You choose a complete system in our assortment. It reaches from the cylinder head outlets to the end cap of the muffler. Alternatively we offer so-called Slip-On solutions.

With this variant you get an attractive alternative for your previous rear silencer. It is a real eye-catcher on every motorcycle. The exchange is comparatively simple.

First you have to dismantle the serial counterpart. In the next step you simply slide the new accessory over the now open pipe. Hence the name (slip on). If optics and sound are the focus of the measures, this variant is the most practicable solution. The manufacturers of these motorcycle accessories are allowed to keep within a legally guaranteed limit of five percent of the registered noise level of the series system.

The volume, which is measured in decibels, in short dB, increases progressively to the value. If a standard system is registered at 95 dB, almost 100 dB may be achieved with the accessories. Manufacturers like Bodis leave a few percent buffer from the start. This avoids any problems.

Compared to complete systems, the smart accessories for mufflers score points with a considerably lower purchase price. Whoever hopes for an increase in performance here usually does so in vain.

If you would like to treat yourself to a new complete system with manifold, the catalytic converter in the manifold system should not be missing for most motorcycle models from a first registration in 2006.

Use - an important question for the purchase decision

How do you move your bike? Do you ride it only on the road? Do you use it equally on the road and on the race track or exclusively on the race track? This not only has a significant influence on the permitted noise emission. Racing tracks in Germany are subject to ever stricter noise regulations. A good and open silencer is part of the basic tuning for exclusive sport use. This, in combination with a reasonable tuning, is the first step to more performance. The approval for road traffic
